Community Bank of Lawndale was certified as a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) in January 2000. With this designation comes the continued responsibility to service individuals and small businesses with products and services, which meet their credit, and depository needs. We always provide the customer assistance you deserve.

The Bank is located in an area that has been designated as an Empowerment Zone by the Federal Government. This federal program seeks to empower people and communities that meet certain poverty and distress criteria. Designated areas can receive substantial federal benefits.

In December 2003, the International Bank acquired the Community Bank of Lawndale and has worked continuously in recent months to bring the International Bank’s top-tier banking products and services to the Lawndale neighborhood.

We began by establishing a senior-citizen’s banking center in the lobby of the Lawndale bank so that over 1000 Lawndale seniors can now bank conveniently and comfortably without standing in line. The Community Bank of Lawndale who is our community partner.
